Is this soooo important? Yes...

Event I
On a lazy sunday morning, I was watching a Test match between India Vs SriLanka. Indian bowlers were getting smashed all across the ground.. Btw, cricket is not the theme of this post. Commentators Tony Craig and Arun lal were talking about the number of crows in and around the stadium, which was more interesting than the game itself. Arun Lal was admiring about the birds and was mentioning about the importance of crows in the Hindu mythology.

Event II
In the afternoon, same day, i was at the doorstep of a clinic in pondicherry town. Many vehicles were passing by. Among that a Tata Sumo, suddenly stopped at the cross link between two roads near by. A door was opened and a fellow was vomitting. Thanks to the specialty of pondicherry. :) that has gone into him.
The place was looking very disgusting. Without worrying about all these things the road was busy.

I was thinking about who will clean this????

With in 5 mins or so, there landed our hero - The crow. Started cleaning it. With in another 5 mins or so there were around 4 crows. I don't know how the crow communicated to his (her!!) team mates. Within 10 mins, the place was cleaned to the extent as if i say this place was dirty no one would be ready to believe.

Recollected the discussion between our commentators about the crows. Forget about the Hindu mythological importance to the crows; what a great role these birds play in the Eco system. Most of the organic waste that we dump every day is been cleaned by birds like this with no cost.

Realized the importance our elders have given to these birds. How easily we have forgotten those good qualities like giving food to crows, in the name of modernization. Even today my mom used to search for spaces to provide food to crows.. Need to remember such wonderful qualities which got inculcated as part of day-to-day activities.

If we watch closely the eco system and food chain, we can admire the design of the system, in which the process synchronization and resource utilization is been optimized to ~100%.

Seems like humans are the only defective product that evolution has ever produced.
